Thad began making pizzas in 1982 and he cut his teeth at Florida’s original Little Caesars Pizza Treat across from UM. Thad continued to earn his pizza pedigree there when Caesars became Miami’s Best Pizza (MBP) in 1990. Thad was the “Face of MBP” and when it closed in 2015 he joined a group to reopen but he was compelled to leave because the new MBP ownership took their eye off the prize (THE PIZZA)!!! Thad recently opened “Thads Pizza”, a boutique, old school pizzeria making a thin and crispy pizza.Thad is highly regarded and is referred to as a Godfather and an OG (Original Gangster) in the pizza business. Thads Pizza is exceptional and authentic making one pizza at a time. Thads Pizza operates as a “pop up” in Mamma Dora’s Pizzeria.
